Hey,

I don't have much to say or much time. But I am not being transferred and keep my same companion. First time being in an area longer then 3 months and no new companion. Also really excited for the baptism on Saturday. Other then that not much else. O I got to meet Elder Bednar on Saturday. That was neat. He didn't really talk. We were asked to read two talks and then we talked about them with him and then got to ask him questions. Thats about all that has gone on.

This was part of a response from Tyler to my email. We used to love watching "Man vs. Foods" on the Travel Channel and had written him about a seafood challenge in Long Island.

Wow that food challenge sounds good. Today we are doing the McDonalds 50 Nuggets for $10 and seeing how many of us can do it. I want to go to this place called Cluk U Chicken and do their food challenge. My companion has done it before. I would love to eat seafood. When you come get me in 18 months we can get real seafood. Very excited. I didn't know they where putting together a video for the young men. I love our stake presidency; they are great. Wish wards and stakes were like ours here. I can't wait to travel and eat all I want also. I hope to come home at 150 Lbs at the least. I am still only 130 - I hate it. I

Hey Everyone,

This has been a great week. Yesterday at church we had 3 investigators and found out the member of the Twelve that is coming is Elder Bednar. I am so excited. We don't know who the Seventy that is coming the same time is. On Monday we had a great lesson and set a baptismal date with a boy who has down syndrome. On Tuesday we went to see some less actives and taught their care-taker and on the spot set another baptismal date. We now have 3 dates. All 3 will happen in March. None this month. Now I have to hope I don't get transferred at the 1st of the month. On Friday we went back to teach the care taker again and Sis. Gorden, who has Alzheimer's tried to fight my companion as we walked in. It was kind of funny. We took a new member out to lunch to Chili's. He is amazing. I hope one day you can meet him. His name is Martin. He spent 13 years in Jail and has changed his whole life and has the most amazing testimony I have ever seen. He is an amazing man. We went to Five Guys with a few members on Wednesday and wow are they crazy. Some people are so weird. It was funny because after we walked in 4 girls walked in and started to flirt with us. Then we went out Friday to get something to eat and these girls started to flirt with us again. It's kind of funny. I have been sick again and my chest pain is back. I am about ready to do surgery on myself and take out everything I don't think is important anymore. Well I love and miss you all. Have a happy valentines day.

Hey,

This last week has been good. We had a scary moment running into a guy with a gun in his pocket and the middle of a drug deal. We did find 5 new investigators this week. We have another baptism for the 27th of this month so things are starting to pick up in this area. This week we had zone meeting and a fireside with Elder Paul Johnson of the Seventy and his brother is the bishop in Clinton. That was a great experience. On the 26th and 27th we will be meeting with a member of the Twelve and of the Seventy but not sure who it is yet. Other then that not to much has happened. Just doing lots of work with the members and going to play basketball today. I love and miss you.

Hey,

I don't have a lot to write about this week. Mostly been seeing members and part member families and less actives. We did set a baptismal date for March 5th with a part member family. It will be neat because in a year he and his wife will be able to go to the temple and be sealed. I don't have any stories this week of crazy people or eating wierd things. I am going to be in Morristown Friday and Saturday for Zone conference and a fireside with Elder Johnson of the seventy. I am excited about that. I am doing well and things here are good. I am sorry there isn't more to talk about. I love and miss you all.
