Hey Everyone,

I don't really have much to talk about this week. On Tuesday we had tranfers and I got a new companion. On Wednesday we had a great southern dinner and got sweet potato pie that was really good. This transfer we have made a goal to see every member in our ward and to have them read the Book of Mormon as a family til the end of February and to have them write down the blessings it brings into their home. So this week we have been seeing lots of members and that has been fun. This week we got to eat cow foot and that was just as bad as Fu Fu. We have an investigator who wants to be baptized. We just need to set him with a date now. Then we have to reactivate his wife so they can go to the temple and be sealed. So that's about it for the week - just meeting with members and with our bishop. We did go to a baptism of a boy in our ward on Saturday. We taught a lesson at his baptism and the spirit was so strong. There were lots of non members there so it was a neat experience. Well, I hope all is well and I love and miss you all.

Hey Everyone,

I am doing good and yesterday I got a new companion. I am still the Jr. Companion. My new companion is Elder Althouse. He was one of the Elders who got jumped in Newark when I first came out. Nothing really new other than that. The weather here has gotten worse but today isn't too bad. We had 3 baptismal dates set up but due to things we are down to 0 again. So now that I have a new Companion I hope things really start happening here. There is a lot of good stuff going on now; we just need to keep it going. I had my first nasty thing to eat on my mission and wanted to die. It's a soup from Africa called FU FU. The soup is thick and looks like mucous. They take Fu Fu flower and make these little balls and put it in the soup. But the soup - they just add what they want and it's mostly all meats. So I had pig ear, crab, shark, chicken and I don't know what else was in it but it was nasty. So that is my story for this week. We have really been working with the members a lot and I am excited. We our getting a big Southern dinner tonight! I am sorry I don't really have more to say. I love and miss you all.

Hey Everyone,

So this week was kind of crazy. I spent 3 days working in Trenton with a new elder and that wasn't too much fun. Some guy tried to tell us the world will end on May 21, 2011. I went to Morristown on Thursday and Friday for leadership training and learned a lot. I stayed in Paterson for those 2 days. This Sunday is transferrs so I will tell you next week what is going on. I don't think I will be transferred but will probably become a leader and have a new companion like I have so far. I got sick on Wednesday and had to go to the store to get some medicine. When I got back from leadership training my companion was sick. Sunday was fun because we didn't go to church because he wasn't doing good so I read Our Search for Happiness. Next month Elder Paul V. Johnson of the 1st Quorum of the Seventy is coming to our mission. Also some others are coming but they wont tell us who till next month. Nothing really has happened since I last wrote home. I love and miss you all.

P.S. Heidi I bought a Princeton Lacrosse shirt and a shot glass from Princeton. Then I had to get some medicine so that is what I got with my card.

Hey Everyone,

I am sorry I didn't write last week. We got a huge snow storm but now it's in the 50's again and most of the snow is melted. This week has been good. We set 3 baptismal dates and found 4 new investigators. On Tuesday we went to the NY Temple. The inside is very nice. I love the temple. I don't like NY City. It is so crazy and too many people. I now see why people don't drive in NY. I feel bad for missionaries there. NJ is a nicer mission. Not a lot has really been going on. I am going to leadership training for two days this week and transfers are coming up soon but other then that nothing really going on. I don't think I will be transferred this transfer but will probably end up getting a new companion and being called to leadership. I forgot to tell you I will probably be on a show called Called to Serve on PBS. In the MTC an elder I know is part of it and a my zone leader right now is also so I have been filmed a few times. You can go to PBS website and look it up. They have a season out already, but this season wont be out for two years. Funny story- We went to KFC for lunch on Saturday with a new member and we got two buckets of chicken. When we were eating a drunk guy came and took one bucket and the biscuits and left with our food. O well, what can you do. Well I am doing well and everything is going good here in NJ. I hope all is well back home. I love and miss you all.
